Kala sarpa yoga: As per hindu mythological stories, head of snake is called as Rahu, tail of snake is called as ketu. They both are placed opposite to each other at 180 degree and never meet together. rahu and ketu are shadow planets. They do not have any solid form and can neither be seen through naked eye or through telescopes. If all the seven planets are placed in between Rahu and ketu then it is called as kalasarpa yoga. If all the seven planets are placed in between ketu and Rahu then it is called as kala amrita yoga. Not much detail about this yoga is given in any of the famous jyothish scripts. It seems this yoga has been inserted in the medieval period by some jyothish experts.
